Lunch Plans for Monday, March 16- Friday, March 20

Submitted by samantha.jasperson on

Park View will be serving hot lunches to students this week, March 16-20. We are hoping to have "grab and go" sack lunches ready for the following week. Until then students who are wanting breakfast will need to come to the school lunchroom between 8:00-9:00. After students are served they will need to leave the school. Students can then return to the school lunchroom for lunch anytime between 11:00-12:00. Again, once students have their food they will need to leave the school.

Reading Week Kickoff

Submitted by samantha.jasperson on

This year’s theme for reading work is “Books Build Brains” and at Park View everyone’s brain is under construction! We kicked off reading week with a really fun assembly put on by some of our finest faculty members. Mr. Atkin had lost his brain, thankfully our trusty construction workers were able to build Mr. Atkin’s brain with books.

Today was our first day traveling around the school listening to different teachers read books about building our brains. We sure do love reading week!

Mrs. Thomas - One of Park View's Finest Teachers

Submitted by shanna.stirland on

We are sad to say that Park View's former kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Thomas passed away earlier this week after battling cancer.  She was a remarkable teacher and influenced so many children throughout her years of teaching. She went to great lengths to make sure all of her students were successful.  Many of those children she taught are still students at Park View today.  We feel fortunate to have had her as part of our Park View Family.

Congratulation to Mrs. Toutai.  She was selected to be Park View's Teacher of the Year.  Her class celebrated with her today in this announcement.  They appreciate her kind and caring personality.  She believes all children can suceed, and she goes to great lengths to help them to become successful.  She also tries to inspire her students to follow their dreams, and not let anyone or anything get in the way of accomplishing those dreams.  We are grateful for wonderful teachers at Park View like Mrs. Toutai. Thank you Mrs. Toutai.
