Science Rules

These fantastic fifth graders put on quite the science fair. They have been working hard on their hypothesis, data collecting, performing experiments and making conclusions about all types of things. There were projects about eggs, soda, bubblegum, volcanoes, crystals, slime and more! On Friday students from the school had the privilege of walking through the various projects, and this science fair did not disappoint, they were both entertaining and educational.

Winter Weather Alert

Dear Nebo Parents/Guardians & Employees:

If the storm proves to be as strong as predicted, Nebo School District schools will be closed all day tomorrow, Monday, February 3, 2020. However, a final decision regarding the closure of schools will NOT be made until 6:30 AM tomorrow morning.

Nebo will NOT be considering a two-hour delayed start tomorrow due to our Monday early out schedule.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Today we celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. We celebrate the life and achievements of Martin Luther King Jr., who was an influential American civil rights leader. He fought to end racial segregation and for racial equality in the United States. Today is not supposed to be spent as a “day off”, but rather a “day on” doing service around your community in hopes of making it a better place!

Parents of the Playground

Our Park View Parents are organizing a program called, parents of the playground at recess.  This is an opportunity for dads, moms, or grandparents to sign up for a day to come for 50 minutes at lunch recess just to play with the kids.  This is great for your own children, but it also allows students to see positive role models. You can sign up for one day or several days, just give it a try!  Please click HERE if this is

Free Dental Hygiene For Those That Qualify

Utah Give Kids a Smile will be holding their annual event on February 29, 2020 at the Utah College of Dental Hygiene in Orem. This event provides free dental exams and procedures for qualifying low income students age 5-12. Attached to this post is the qualification information, and consent form. For students to participate in this free event parents need to complete the Heath history and consent form faxed in by the deadline.

After School Clubs
