We are so excited to have the privilege of participating in the second annual Veterans Day Parade on November 11, 2021! Last year this parade meant so much to both the veterans who joined in the procession and the community who expressed their heart felt thanks.
Park View Elementary has been fortunate this year to have Doug Smith Subaru adopt our school. They love learning and love helping schools. They collected donations from their employees and customers to provide needed school supplies for our teachers, staff and students. Six of our teachers were granted $500 each that could be spent on items to supplement and enrich the curriculum.
First Graders collaborate with each other to build extremely tall towers! The students that work hard and use both the kindness and learner qualities can earn a fun Friday, where they can choose a fun activity at the end of the day. These kids love to build structures, especially when it is far bigger than they are!
Thanks to our PVP (Park View Parents) we have a fun new tradition. Each month students who have a birthday within that month get to eat with the principal Mrs. Walker! Students get to sit at a special VIP table equipped with decorations and treats. We think birthdays are a pretty big deal around here! Happy birthday to all the kiddos with birthdays in September!
