It’s time for our monthly Utah County CHADD Support Group meeting.

 "CHADD" stands for Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder. CHADD is a non-profit national, state and local organization dedicated to educating, supporting and advocating for those affected in some way by AD/HD.

 If you are a parent of a child with AD/HD or you are an adult with AD/HD, then this support group is just for you! Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7:00pm - 8:30pmat Provo City Library, 550 North University Ave., Provo Young-Card Room #308.  Guest Speaker: Esperanza Reyes  Topic:  From Homework Horror to Homework Happiness:  Realistic and practical ways parents can take some of the pain out of homework using technology that can help children get organized, study effectively and monitor progress.  ESPERANZA REYES' education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and one in Sociology. She currently has a Master of Science in Human Development and Social Policy, along with a Graduate Certificate in Disability Studies, from the University of Utah. Her main academic interest lies in the transition to adulthood and employment for youth with disabili­ties. She currently works for the Utah Parent Center as a Parent Consultant.  Esperanza is the mother of a 7 year-old-boy on the Autism Spectrum. She is also sister to a young man on the Spectrum. Her life has been touched and shaped by these two individuals. Her greatest desire is to see them live fulfilled lives, as they have allowed her to find fulfillment in hers.
