Park View Student of the Month assembly was held on February 1st to honor those who have displayed outstanding academic and behavioral achievement. To begin the assembly, the first grade students taught the quality of respect. They shared their thoughts about respect for ourselves by doing your best and saying such things as, “I’m important,” and “I can do my best.” Respect for property includes keeping the school clean and not taking things that belong to others. Respect for others involves using kind words and being helpful. They sang, “The ABC’s of Respect” and reminded the student body that “respect starts with me.”
Then the students of the month were presented. These students certainly deserve respect:

1st Grade: Julia Humphreys, Jack Mecham, Claire Porter, Justice Lake, Allie Young, Alex Orozco, Skylar Marshall, Brittney Ottesen, Boston Mobbs, Nathan Makin, and Nathaniel Biggs.
2nd Grade: Collin Johnson, Stephanie Cervantes, Logan Johnson, Madison Heaton, Syrus Butts, Gavyn Allen, Hailey Peay, Makenze Hall, Bailee Dietz, and Mia King.
3rd Grade: Braxton Mabey, Macy Alexander, Taylor Killpack, Hunter Pierce, Sheila Moreno, Eric Lindsay, Ethan Hansen, Cassidy Shelley, Wylie Wilson, Tyler Page, and Yoltzi Jimenez.
4th Grade: Juan Guevara, Lylah Beaudry, Michael Ohman, Bradley Peterson, McKenna Wright, Ashton Eaves, Maddison Hawkins, Katy Hinton, Derek Manning, Kinsey Makin, and Hannah Eddington.
