The second grade students went on a field trip to a farm to learn about some important community helpers. They learned about the different uses of wool, care of animals and the usefulness of honey bees. They also learned all about the different kinds of foods they need to grow big and strong. They saw a dog do hand commands; they saw a goat, a horse, some rabbits, and a sheep. They learned what kinds of foods farm animals give us. and how they help make our lives better. After visiting the farm, they were able to go to the park to play and eat lunch. It was an educational activity for our second graders.
