What is winter…….? By Mrs. Rife’s Class

Snowmen and snowballs,

beautiful falling snow and icicles,

Angel wings on the snowy ground,

Polar bears and an avalanche

                     Whoa!

            Playing in the snow!

Skiing and sledding and snowball fights,

Jumping and flying over the snow,

Sleeping in and watching snowflakes fall

Hot chocolate in our tummies

                Yummy!

Three magic Snowmen by, Mrs. Toutai's first grade
         Sparkly, white snowmen
         Wearing black top hats
With indigo scarves and orange mittens
       How many can you make?

Winter is near.  By: Claire & Karli

Winter is almost here.

It will be fun I know.

Jumping in the cold snow.

I can go ice skating.

The blue sky is fading.

I know winter is so fun.

Lots of cold and no sun.

I know that winter is here.

It’s nothing I will ever fear.

Cause winter rules and summer drools.

Winter Fun  by Hank Francom

I lay down, and I watch the snow fall.

I build a snowman, tall, tall, tall!

I sled down a hill and yell wo-hoo!

I go inside, and have hot chocolate too.

Gingerbread Houses by Mr. Gowan's Class

We like to use the candy , To make houses so small.

And then when winter’s over, we like to eat them all!

Then we dream of sugar plums, That dance inside our heads ,

While we sleep so soundly , Tucked, warm , inside our beds.
