Nebo School District is providing support groups for parents of children with special needs. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, March 12 at 7:00 pm. at the Nebo School District Office CTE Building at 350 S. Main Street, Spanish Fork. The presentation will be given by Brenda Chabot of NAMI. She will be discussing how disabilities affect the whole family. Ideas for discussion will include how to lessen the negative impact on the family, how to support siblings and spouses, working through issues as a family, what to do when you can’t agree, and creating a “Challenging Behavior Family Plan.
