Guest Speaker: Dr. Aaron Allred

Topic: How can I tell if it's ADHD?  The Testing & Diagnosis of Attention Disorders

Dr. Aaron Allred is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in the assess­ment and diagnosis of psychological disor­ders, including ADD/ADHD, Learning Disorders, and emotional disorders. He runs a private practice where he conducts psychological evaluations with children and adults and also works as a coor­dinator at the University Accessibility Center at BYU. In addition to assessing psychological conditions, Dr. Allred is experienced in career testing and per­sonality testing. He received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Brigham Young University in 2012. His doctoral training emphasized psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and career counseling and his dissertation focused on the intersection between mental health and workplace productivity. He grew up in Gilbert, Arizona and is the second oldest of eight children. Dr. Allred currently resides in Provo, Utah with his wife Rebecca and their 18 month old daughter, Macey.
