Journalism Club Members

Park View is excited to announce the newly formed membership of the Journalism Club for the 2015 - 2016 school year.  Under the direction of Samantha Jasperson and Joann Kirk, fifth grade students were encouraged to write essays explaining why they would be a valuable member of the team. Riann Joel said that she is good at noticing things.  Claire Porter loves to know what is going on in the world.  Lyndsee Slade said she will write stories that are funny, mysterious, and action packed.  Ellie Hine feels comfortable talking to anyone.  Being a member of the team would help her get involved and help her make new friends. Colby Rigby said he is positive, not negative when helping.  Ashton Andrew loves being a Park View Bee and being a part of things happening around school.  Grace Spencer thinks it would be fun to meet new people and learn about them. Amanda Johnson can't wait to expand her writing skills as she serves.  Amelia Adams loves being involved in all of the amazing school activities.  These are just a few of the talents the newly assigned members of the Journalism Club possess.  Watch for all the wonderful events captured by these creative writers.  They will be excellent eyes and ears of the school and our community.

Be sure to like us on Facebook to easily keep informed of newly posted stories.

Here are all the members of the team:  Amelia Adams, Allie Young, Evelyn Cervantes, Amanda Johnson, Grace Spencer, Ashton Andrew, Lexie Crawford, Colby Rigby, Zaylee Hiatt, Ellie Hine, Kate Nielson, Lyndsee Slade, Claire Porter, Riann Joel and Lizbeth Alvarado.  Congratulations

Let's Go! Let's Go! Here We Go!  The students of Park View were taught school rules at Boot Camp.  Mrs. Stirland, Mrs. Kent, Mrs. Ellsworth and Mrs. Ore were some of the presenters.  They reminded students of acceptable behaivor in the halls, on the playground and in the lunchroom.  They had the students on their feet and cheering.  It was a fun way to learn and be reminded of our school rules to keep us all safe.  Have a great year, Park View Bees!
