Nothing is more electrifying than the first day of school. This held true for the kindergarten students at Park View Elementary as Mrs. Reynolds helped make these bright-eyed scholars’ first day a special one by literally rolling out the red carpet and greeting them one by one as they crossed over the threshold of learning.

Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Toelupe and Mrs. Thomas, provided a wonderful day of enriching activities that helped them forget about missing mom and dad at home.

A big "Park View Bee Welcome" goes out to all the students at Park View who are returning or who are new at the school, and wishes to all the students at Park View to have a delightful and inspiring year.  Welcome Back!

Rebecca Millet, Heather Hutchinson, Gemma Pittman, and Jessie Olsen join the faculty at Park View Elementary

Park View Elementary has four new teachers added to the faculty. Rebecca Millet grew up in Salt Lake, graduated from UVU and will join the second grade team. She has two beautiful children, Ethan, age nine and Saige age six. As well as being trained as a teacher, she is an experienced massage therapist. Gemma Pittman will also work with the second graders. She grew up in England, however, came to the states when she was fifteen years old. She graduated from UVU and loves quilting and making exotic cupcakes. Heather Hutchinson is joining the fifth grade team and calls St. George home. She also graduated from UVU. She worked as a beautician to help pay for her schooling. Jessie Olsen graduated from Brigham Young University and taught second grade at East Meadows. She grew up in Sandy. She loves music and plays the violin and the piano. Over the summer, she ran and completed a half marathon. She will be teaching first grade. The Park View students are lucky to have these four talented teachers. We wish them a wonderful school year.
