Park View Honors Students of the Month in March

Submitted by joann.kirk on

The Student of the Month Assembly for March began with the Fifth Grade sharing their ideas of what Cooperation means to them. “Cooperation is working together as part of a team.” Taking turns and helping others is all part of cooperation. To demonstrate what cooperation means, they made a human knot and tried to untangle themselves. It took everyone working together to straighten themselves.

To begin the assembly, the first grade students taught the quality of respect. They shared their thoughts about respect for ourselves by doing your best and saying such things as, “I’m important,” and “I can do my best.” Respect for property includes keeping the school clean and not taking things that belong to others. Respect for others involves using kind words and being helpful.
