Teachers and Room Mothers used their creativity to engage Park View students in fun Thanksgiving activiites throughout the holiday season. Here are some of the activities seen around the school:
Mrs. Prina’s 5th grade class had a scavenger hunt that took them all around the school and back to their class room where they got nacho’s…Mr. Broadbent’s class held a pizza party and watched science video’s…Mrs. Barney’s class had pie and learned about the pilgrims and how Thanksgiving began. They made paper treasure chest’s that held everything they were thankful for...Mrs. Adam’s class had pie and colored Indians… Kindergarten had a Big Thanksgiving feast with food and games…3rd grade did Thanksgiving rotations where they got to do crafts and fun games in each class…1st grade had pie and made bracelets that said what they were thankful for…6th grade learned about world hunger and how we should be thankful for what we have… 4th grade had a class rotation with crafts and games. Mrs. Allred’s class also made origami boxes and Mrs. Shepherd’s class played "Mr. Turkey, Mr. Turkey, What time is it" and "Thanksgiving 4 Corners"!!!
