The Second Annual Fun Run was held at the beginning of October. Students have run their laps and collected their donations. Mrs. Gull said, ”I thought that everyone did a good job. I loved seeing everyone participating.” Avery Bulky said,”I think that I can do twenty laps. I love running!” It looked like the music really pumped up every one. Emeleo said that he was trying to earn twenty dollars. Vivian said “ I want to run 20 laps, and I really like running in this fun run with my friends!!”
All the students ran at least 14 laps In Mrs. Thomas's Kindergarten class. Beto Ruelaz ran 23 laps. They really enjoyed the prizes like a water bottle, rice crispy treats, and more. They all hope to run next year.
The first graders were awesome at running. Mrs. Toulepe ran with the kids because the kids challenged her! The two top winners won tee-shirts! Everyone had a good attitude. Mrs. Lundell and Mrs. Toutai were proud of there kids as well. They had such good attidutes. Everyone tried there hardest. I’m sure everyone was tired after. Everyone ran to get prizes, and have fun.
We are all so happy with are P.T.A. for helping us! Thanks to all who sponsored the students in this worthwhile event. A special thank you to all the parents who donated time to encourage the students and give prizes for each lap. The money donated will be spent on technology for the classrooms.
