The Journalism Club sponsored a writing contest called, "Spring Looks Like...) Student wrote what they liked about Spring. On April 17 all who participated where invited to a celebration of Spring. The Journalism club treated them with milk and cookies. The winners were awarded with chocolate suckers, complements of Ethan Dixon and his mother. The winning entries were shared over the intercom. Here are the winners of the Spring Writing Contest. In first grade the winner was Lucas Fullmer. Second grade, first place was Alexa Burton, second place was Jennica Chabot, and in third place was Kell Barney. For thirde grade we also had three winners. In frist was Charley Syme, second was Mkenzie Ainscough, and third was Hadlie Baxter. In first place for fourth grade was Allie Young, in second was Zaylee Hiatt, and in third was Jolee Nelson. In fifth grade we had Claire Maloy for first place, in second was Gentry Talyor, and in third was Kiri Barney. For sixth grade in first place we had Sheila Moreno, second was Abby Jaussi, and last but not least in third place we had Halle Bulkley. We had many winners with many great story’s. If you know any of these kids congratulate them.
