Monthly CHADD Meeting this Thursday

It’s time for our monthly Utah County CHADD Support Group meeting. "CHADD" stands for Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder. CHADD is a non-profit national, state and local organization dedicated to educating, supporting and advocating for those affected in some way by AD/HD.  If you are a parent of a child with AD/HD or you are an adult with AD/HD, then this support group is just for you!

Guest Speaker:  Steve R. Titensor

 Topic:  Why You Need an AD/HD Coach

STEVE TITENSOR graduated from Weber State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Speech. He then received a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Brigham Young Uni­versity. After some postgraduate work he received a Utah State license in Marriage and Family Therapy.  He has worked as a counselor at Heritage Youth Services, Clearfield Job Corps, Project New Pride, and LDS Family Services.  He began his government service with Salt Lake County Division of Youth Services as a Youth Counselor in 1979 and has served as a Therapist, Group Home Manager, YSC Clinical Director, YSC Assistant Director, Program Manager and Clinical Director for the Division where he retired in 2012.  He entered the military Chaplaincy in 1981. He received a direct commission as a Captain in the Air Force Reserve attached to Hill AFB, Utah where he served until his retirement in 2008 as a Lt. Colonel.  Steve worked for Humana from 2012 to 2014 as a Market Manager over the Utah and Idaho Market. He currently is the Fatherhood Program Manager at First Step House in Salt Lake City. He also has a private therapy and coaching practice in Woods Cross.
