It's a bird; it's a plane. No, it's an egg! Fifth grade students were challenged to create a contraption to keep an egg from breaking after falling from the sky and crashing to the ground. They selected teams and went right to work engineering their apparatus and securing their egg.
Then they went to the south side of the school to drop their eggs. Some made the harrowing decent in one piece. Others cracked under the pressure.
