The fifth graders have been working very hard on their science fair projects and today they got to show them off! Both the judges and the entire school had the awesome opportunity to inquire and admire all of the projects. These fifth graders deserve a big round of applause, way to go scientists!
We want to give a big shout out to the student leaders from Mr. Broadbent's class that served our school for the first half of the year. They did such a great job! Here are some of the things they loved about being student leaders:
Alejandra said that she loved playing with kids and helping out.
Ruby said that one thing she loved was getting to work with so many friends and getting to work with kids.
Kelsie said she loved being with all the kids at recess duty and being able to make so many new friends.
4th and 3rd grade was excited to celebrate kindness today with a pizza party! They worked hard memorizing all of the kindness qualities that we will continue to work on throughout the year. Remember our kindness qualities are: include, compromise, empathize, compassionate, patient and courteous! We love kind kids!

It is time for our after school choir program to start up again! Does your child love to sing? Do you want to help your child become more immersed in the arts? Are you wanting your child to do something other than play video games? You should sign your child up for choir! Choir practice is on Mondays after school from 2:15-3:00. Choir members will receive a shirt and a wealth of singing knowledge. Ms. Diana our choir director is one of the best around.
