One of the main questions teachers get asked when discussing reading progress is, "How can I help my child understand what they are reading?" Comprehension is a huge part of reading and it is the hardest to teach, especially in the home environment. Parents, Pastries and Christmas Stories

Last week our students had quite the Christmas treat and we aren't just referring to the donut holes that were served. The PVP (Park View Parents) had parents come into each classroom and read their favorite Christmas stories. It was fun to hear the different books that families love and cherish in their homes. The students listened, felt the Christmas spirit and filled their bellies with the yummiest of donut holes and the tastiest Capri Suns.

The countdown to Christmas break is officially on! This week is going to be packed full of fun festivities. If you have any questions about events happening, please contact your child's teacher.
