Mrs. Thomas - One of Park View's Finest Teachers

Submitted by shanna.stirland on

We are sad to say that Park View's former kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Thomas passed away earlier this week after battling cancer.  She was a remarkable teacher and influenced so many children throughout her years of teaching. She went to great lengths to make sure all of her students were successful.  Many of those children she taught are still students at Park View today.  We feel fortunate to have had her as part of our Park View Family.

Congratulation to Mrs. Toutai.  She was selected to be Park View's Teacher of the Year.  Her class celebrated with her today in this announcement.  They appreciate her kind and caring personality.  She believes all children can suceed, and she goes to great lengths to help them to become successful.  She also tries to inspire her students to follow their dreams, and not let anyone or anything get in the way of accomplishing those dreams.  We are grateful for wonderful teachers at Park View like Mrs. Toutai. Thank you Mrs. Toutai.

These fantastic fifth graders put on quite the science fair. They have been working hard on their hypothesis, data collecting, performing experiments and making conclusions about all types of things. There were projects about eggs, soda, bubblegum, volcanoes, crystals, slime and more! On Friday students from the school had the privilege of walking through the various projects, and this science fair did not disappoint, they were both entertaining and educational.
