Sixth Grade Field Trip

Submitted by samantha.jasperson on

The sixth graders had the opportunity to attend The Christa McAuliffe Spance Education Center for their field trip on Friday, January 25. They viewed constellations, saved the planet "Astana" in a space simulation, and they attended a class where they learned about the size and distance of space. They had a great time and learned a lot!

Who Loves to Sled? The Students at Park View!

Submitted by samantha.jasperson on

Each term Park View encourages good behavior with a rewards activity. Students work hard to be on their best behavior so they can attend these fun activities. This term students were rewarded with 30 minutes of sledding followed by hot chocolate and donuts. This is by far one of the best days of the year! Katelyn Kolling in third grade said, "This is the best day of my life!" We are so proud of our Park View Bee's and the effort they put in to make our school the best place to be.

Science Fair

Earlier this month students and faculty were impressed and proud of our outstanding fifth graders. They worked hard conducting interesting experiments. Some favorites were: how the Statue of Liberty turned green, does upbeat music increase your heart rate while exercising, how much sugar is in the soda you drink, and how to produce a battery from apples. Nice job to our hardworking fifth graders! Lastly, a special thanks to our fifth grade teachers, Ms. Bird, Mr. Broadbent, and Mrs. Toutai for all the support and hard work in making the science fair great!
