All About Our Fabulous 5th Grade Teacher, Mrs. Prina

Submitted by joann.kirk on

“Hi, I grew up in Glendale Arizona, and I became a teacher.  I wanted to be a teacher because when I was at BYU Idaho I volunteered for a kid's Halloween Party.  I had so much fun, I knew I would love to teach kids and help them gain knowledge.  I like teaching at Park View because all the teachers and students are kind!!  Right now I live in Orem with my husband and baby.  I have been teaching for six years.  In all my teaching I have only taught fifth graders.

So many wonderful things happen at Park View, and we want to spread the word through Facebook and Social Media.

The district is willing to give our school $500 to buy electronics for learning uses. We just need to get 600 likes and shares on Facebook!  All you need  to do is follow these simple steps.

  1. “Like” us.

Clark Planetarium Scientists Come to Park View

Submitted by joann.kirk on

On Nov. 2, 2015 Scientists came from the Clark Planetarium to instruct 4th, 5th and 6th graders about the art of science.

During the Clark Planetarium Assembly, a scientist demonstrated the shock wave.  Students lined up and held hands.  The first person touched a big round ball that had static electricity flowing through it.  Each person felt a shock from the electricity clear down the line.  Michael Lopez said, “It felt like lightening.”
