First, classes participated in a preliminary spelling bee in order to find the top three spellers in each class. On March 30, 2016 nine students showed their spelling skills in front of their parents, peers and second grade classes. Ultimately, victors were; Jennica Chabot as our first place winner, Jack Willard taking our second place slot and Maddox Callister sliding in with a third place win.

Then they went to the south side of the school to drop their eggs. Some made the harrowing decent in one piece. Others cracked under the pressure.
