Oh that Sweet Chocolate!

Submitted by joann.kirk on Tue, 04/28/2015 - 07:36

Chocolate comes in many forms, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, truffles, chocolate icecream, fudge; we could go on and on.  This week it is in the form of money for Park View to buy new Chormebooks.  One candy bar is $1.00.  Ask your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or cousin about buying some chocolate, then enjoy its sweetness now, and later as the students use the chromebooks.  Envelopes with money and names are due on Friday, May 1st.

Our fourth graders had so much fun on their field trip to the Hutchings Museum in Lehi.   They learned about some very interesting things like fossils of dinosaurs and prehistoric animals, rocks, native american , pioneers and famous outlaws.  This museum is so vast, it even has an exhibit on stuffed animals.  The students thought that the rock room was so cool.  They got to see their birthstones! Everyone learned so much and had a bunch of fun!

Park View Students Enjoy Spring

Submitted by joann.kirk on Sun, 04/19/2015 - 09:44

Our cute Kindergarten students had an Spring Party. It was so cute to see them going around picking up colorful eggs. We were so lucky to see both classes. We saw Ms. Jones’s class, and they had the cutest thing.  It was a tube that you put the eggs in and the eggs would slide down the tube into a bucket.  Mrs. Thomas’s class had just as much fun opening their shining eggs. We were so lucky to go and see the amazing adorable kindergarteners at Easter.

Student Teacher Completes Service

Submitted by joann.kirk on Thu, 04/16/2015 - 07:18

Mrs. Page has been a student teacher here at Park View for the last 4 months working with the special education students. She is leaving April 24.  She loves to work with the kids and the kids love her. She is nice and fun. She taught us math and reading in a fun way.  She is sad to leave, but she has completed her dream.  It was a fun four months with her.  She is going to be a real teacher now.  So if you see her, say thank you.
