Third grade classes were able to come together for their very own Park View Spelling Bee. First, classes participated in a preliminary spelling bee in order to find the top three spellers in each class. On March 30, 2016 nine students showed their spelling skills in front of their parents, peers and second grade classes. It was a close competition and all the contestants worked hard to become the top speller. Ultimately, victors were; Jennica Chabot as our first place winner, Jack Willard taking our second place slot and Maddox Callister sliding in with a third place win.

It's a bird; it's a plane. No, it's an egg! Fifth grade students were challenged to create a contraption to keep an egg from breaking after falling from the sky and crashing to the ground. They selected teams and went right to work engineering their apparatus and securing their egg.
Then they went to the south side of the school to drop their eggs. Some made the harrowing decent in one piece. Others cracked under the pressure.
