Arbor Day with Payson City!

Submitted by samantha.jasperson on

Last week the third grade students had a very special opportunity to participate in an arbor day activity! They were invited on a mini field trip to the park across the street to plant a couple of trees in honor of arbor day. Mayor Bill Wright was in attendance and told them that the trees being planted are planted in the name of veteran. The trees were donated by the one and only Olson’s Garden Shoppe! In addition to planting the trees at the park, two lucky students went home with a tree to plant in their yard.

With the names of the applicants removed, all of our student leaders read and voted on who they felt was the best candidate to receive this scholarship.

5th Grade Track Meet

Submitted by samantha.jasperson on

This year our fifth graders were especially excited for the track meet, unfortunately we weren’t able to go last year due to the COVID school dismissal. They ran their hearts out and competed against other fifth graders in our area to see who could run, jump, and throw the farthest. Lucky for them the weather was perfect, making for a pretty fabulous day. Way to go fifth graders!
