N.O.V.A. Graduation Highlights

 If you were asked, “Which wolf are you feeding?” what would you say?  The sixth grade students at Park View would answer, “There is a good wolf and a bad wolf in each and every one of us, but we choose which one we feed, or which one we fuel. If we are feeding the good wolf, by doing good and making wise choices, then we will be good people, but the opposite is true if we are feeding the bad wolf.”

4th Grade Utah County Fair

Can you name all the counties in Utah?  The 4th graders at Park View can.  They have spent months preparing for the Utah County Fair held on March 6, 2012.  They researched their chosen county, found interesting facts, wrote reports and created posters.  They also practiced songs about Utah that they presented to the students and their parents.  The participants lined the halls to present the information they found; everyone was able to take a virtual road trip through all the counties of Utah.  This activity was held under the direction o

Park View Honors Students of the Month in March

The Student of the Month Assembly for March began with the Fifth Grade sharing their ideas of what Cooperation means to them. “Cooperation is working together as part of a team.” Taking turns and helping others is all part of cooperation. To demonstrate what cooperation means, they made a human knot and tried to untangle themselves. It took everyone working together to straighten themselves.
