N.O.V.A. Graduation Ceremony Announced

During the last few months, the sixth graders participated in the N.O.V.A Program.   N.O.V.A.'s mission is to Nurture youth to seek out positive Opportunities, internalize good Values, and to accept Accountability for their choices in life.  N.O.V.A. assists parents, families, and communities in protecting youth from the potentially devastating effects of illegal drugs, violence, and negative media exposure.

Tyler Page; A Student Spotlight

Tyler Page is nine years old and is in Mr. Gowans’ fourth grade class.  He was born in Henderson Nevada.   His favorite color is purple.   His favorite food is ham fried rice.   His favorite place is Disney World.   His favorite activity out of school is baseball.   His favorite person is Jered Weaver, a famous baseball player on the Los Angeles Angels.  His favorite subject in school is Science.  His favorite specialty class is P.E.  

 

Valentine's Day Celebration

Park View celebrated Valentine's Day in fine fashion.  Movies, games, art work and sharing valentines were all part of the festivities.   Thanks to all the room parents who planned and prepared activities for each of the classes.  It was a fantastic day of love and fun.

Payson Jr. High Music Department Visits Park View

Have you ever wanted to play an instrument?  Here is your chance to learn.  Join the Payson Jr. High Band or Orchestra.  Mrs. Ericksen and Mrs. Petrucka brought their talented students to perform for the sixth grade students.  They hoped to inspire the students to develop their musical talents and register for their music groups.
