These lucky kids had an awesome opportunity to eat lunch with the firefighters! These kids colored the firemen's picture perfectly and were randomly drawn as winners for this fun prize. The kids got to ride in the ambulance, talk with the emergency responders, eat a fancy lunch of hot dogs, soda and chips, and finally, they got to ride back on the firetruck. Thank you to the firefighters and emergency responders who spoiled them rotten!

The third graders had to make one tough decision. If you could only use one utensil for the rest of your life, what would you choose? Spork, knife, spoon, fork, or chopsticks. After they made their decision, students then had to write an opinion essay on why they think that utensil is the best. So, we want to know, what would you choose?
Walk More in Four, an annual walking and biking challenge for students K-8 across the state, begins September 10 and runs through October 5. Our school has a chance to win up to $500. Participating students will be entered to win bikes, scooters, helmets and more.
Park View is having a Fall Carnival and we want you, and all your friends to join in on the fun! There will be food trucks (Street Tacos Terricaso, Smokin Roadside Grill, Forge Pizzeria, Clark's Island Donuts), drinks, a ton of carnival games, and a silent auction. So, mark your calendars and talk to all your friends because the night is quickly approaching. The carnival is on Monday, October 15th from 5:30-8:00 pm. You will need tickets for this event so purchase them now!
