Submitted by joann.kirk on

This year at Park View we have a new 6th grade teacher!  His name is Mr. Wright. He was born in Salt Lake. He has 4 children, two boys and two girls. He also has an amazing wife! Some of his hobbies are golfing and barbequing. Yum! His favorite food is pizza and his favorite color is red. He also really likes basketball. He was on active duty for National Guard.  He has wanted to teach since he was little, so he put his mind to it, and he achieved it! His favorite thing to teach is math. He is very understanding and loves to teach. I wish he was my teacher!

September Students of the Month focus on Friendship

Submitted by joann.kirk on

September became a friendly month at Park View.  Each student was challenged to build the character of Friendship.  Maddox helped a friend with math.  Andrew helped a classmate do assigned work in class.  Julia played with someone at recess who didn’t have a friend.  To celebrate their achievement, students of the month were called out of class.  Others lined the halls to give "high fives" as recognition for their special effort.
