Under the direction of the Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Thomas and Ms. Jones, the Kindergarten  kids had a big Thanksgiving Feast. They all got dressed up as pilgrims. The kids invited their parents to come and get dressed up as Native Americans. Each student made their very own place mat with pictures of things they are thankful for.  They ate rolls, ham and pumpkin pie. After dinner, they all played games. On November 11, 2014, Park View Elementary held a Veteran’s Day Assembly to honor the people who have served our country. To start our program Kamyren Meek, Mckenzie Chappel, and Leah Wengert sang “I Hear America Singing”.   What a heart warming song to start the program. Halloween Spooks Visit Park View

Submitted by joann.kirk on

Lions, and tigers and bears, oh, no.  Ghosts and goblins and wizards, oh, no.  Princesses, football players and hobos, oh, no!  All of these and more could be seen walking the halls of Park View.  Many haunting activities were planned for the ghouls during the day.  Classes held parties with the help of their Room Mothers.  Mrs. Toelupe’s class played games, made crafts, and had treats.  Mrs. Shepherd’s class loved making wands; they where super and magically cool.  Mrs. Palacios’s class had a party and catapulted pumpkins into cauldrons.
