Honest Actions Were Noticed at Park View

Submitted by joann.kirk on

Honesty and loyalty are key. If two people can be honest with each other about everything, that's probably the biggest key to success.  Taylor Lautner

February's Students of the month were chosen for their acts of Honesty.  Kim Brandley turned in some money she found.  Max Ruffell said he didn't lie.  These students exemplified the character trait of honesty.

Congratulations to these students for living honestly.

Submitted by joann.kirk on

It's time for the Shootout! This fun and exciting city wide competition will be at Payson High School on March 4, 2015. All the people that made it had to try out during P. E. under the watchful eye of Jayme Walker, our P.E. teacher.  The people that tried out had to shoot hoops and try to get the most points. The harder the shot, the more points you got. There are 6 people in each grade that will move on! In third grade the people that moved on are: Brynlee Worth, Alli Drake, Makaylie Jones, Kade Edwards, William Dixon, and Ethan Nelson.

Which Wolf Are You Feeding? N.O.V.A. Graduation Ceremony

Submitted by joann.kirk on

All the 6th graders participated in Nova.  N.O.V.A stands for Nurturing, Opportunities, Values and Accountability.  Officer Bill Wright taught the students many valuable lessons.  They learned about how to have a successful life through making right choices with their education, with their associations with others, and with staying healthy.  Everyone's favorite lesson was about the boiled frog.  Little changes in temperature are not noticed; pretty soon the frog is at the boiling point, and then it's too late.

A Special Valentine's Day at Park View

Submitted by joann.kirk on

Love is in the air!  Heart grams are being sent to couples and friends. Each grade has a party to celebrate. We are going to tell you about all of them.

Student Councel sold Heart Grams.  You could get one for your lover and friends, maybe roses or other beautiful flowers.  The profits from the Heart Grams went to benefit the Primary Children's Hospital.  Three thousand Valentines were sold.  That's a lot of love.
