Valentine's Day was an eventful day at Park View. Students from all grades were able to purchase Heart Grams for their friends sold by the Student Council. The money raised went to Breast Cancer Research in honor of our dear friend and former teacher at Park View, Leslie Ewell. Students enjoyed classroom parties and Valentine exchanges. Our Latinos in Action students from Payson Junior High brought the classes hearts and treats. Third grade students classified and sorted different types of Valentine's candies. In Ms. McAllister's second grade class, room mom Linda Baker brought in props such as mustaches, blow up guitars, and hearts with love phrases for a photo booth. Ms. Lundell's first grade wrote down their love advice. Brock wrote, "You should marry somebody who would sell thier cat if you were allergic." Oakley wrote, "My mom and dad got married because they both liked to hug each other." Finally, Isaac J. said "You should get married after you have saved up $100.00." Park View students had a fun Valentine's Day.
