This last week UVU's Theatre for Youth and Education brought the production of Tomato Plant Girl to our students in first through third grade. This performance is a simple story of a little girl who is bullied by her bossy best friend and who learns how to play with an imaginary Tomato Plant Girl while gaining the confidence to play alone if she needed to. This production touched on topics like growing tomato plants, avoiding "girl-bullying" and moving into a new neighborhood. Tomoato Plant Girl was so fun to watch!
