Today, students of Park View had the privledge of standing amoung heros. Veterans that are related to Park View students and faculty were honored in a special Veterans Day assembly. The assembly was opened by a flag ceremony, The Pledge of Alligence, and the national anthem sung by Zoe Stevenson, Wyatt Alexander, Emma Anderson, and Gracie Morton. The fifth grade students helped everyone feel patriotic with songs about military and America. The veterans and their relatives stood as their heroic story was read aloud. Afterwards, they were given an American flag pin as a "thank you for your service" gift. Lastly, veterans and their families were celebrated with a victory lab around the school.

We want to thank all men and women who have served in the military, we appreciate you, we love you, and we stand proud to be Americans.
