Red Ribbon Week was held during the week of October 27 to October 31 at Park View.  During the week, activities are held to remind us all to be healthy and stay away from Drugs.  The week was kicked off by everyone wearing red.  Tuesday was crazy hair and socks day, which was to remind all students “from the top of our head to the tip of our toes, we will be totally drug free.”  Brielle and Sammy thought It was so fun to see all these kids with crazy hair and crazy socks.”   Wednesday students were given bug rings and then repeated, “I would rather eat bugs than do drugs.”  Thursday’s theme was “Don’t get wrapped up in drugs.  Students brought toilet paper from home.  A friendly competition was held in which students wrapped their buddies up in toilet paper to make the best mummy. The mummy making contest resulted with the victory of Mr. Broadbent’s class.  The week ended with all the students dressing up in their Halloween costumes to say, "Boo to Drugs."  It was a fun week of activities and promises to stay clear of drugs.
