Payson High Choir Brings Holiday Cheer to Park View

On Thursday, December 13, 2012, the Payson High School Concert Choir, under the direction of Marilyn Morgan,  came to Park View to sing Christmas songs to spread a little Christmas cheer.   They sang “Oh Come, Oh Come, Emmanuel”, Polar Express, “Believe”, “The Sugar Plum Fairy”, I Want a Hippopotamus For Christmas”, “ Little St. Nick”, “Have a Holly Jolly Christmas”, and “Jingle Bells”.   They blended their voices to sound like actual interments!  Abby Maloy said, “They were really funny and nice!”  Kenzingtin Baxter said, “It was amazing how they came.”  Lindsey Welton added, “I loved it!  I love singing and music; it was so totally me!!!”

Six of the singers graduated from Park View.  It was exciting to have them return and share their talents.  We could tell everyone loved the reindeer horns to remind us to be quiet; some tried to be noisy on purpose, because when we were noisy we had to make reindeer horns.

Thank you to the Payson High Choir for making our Christmas a little more merry and bright.
