Kindergarten Thanksgiving Feast

On Tuesday, November 20th the Kindergarten held their annual Thanksgiving feast.  Mrs. Thomas, organized the feast for her students.  Each of the children dressed up as a pilgrim.  Mrs. Thomas recalled, “It went well because we had a lot of help from the parents.  The room mothers were very organized.  They decorated and provided plenty of food.”  After eating, the children gathered around to play games similar to the first Thanksgiving.  Some of the games they played were, “Mother, May I?”, “Red Light, Green Light”, “Limbo”, “Turkey, Turkey, Gobble (Duck Duck Goose)”, and “Mr. Fox”.  The children also sang, “The Children of Many Colors.”  Everyone who attended had a great time acting out the first Thanksgiving.
