Halloween Spooks Visit Park View

Submitted by joann.kirk on

Lions, and tigers and bears, oh, no.  Ghosts and goblins and wizards, oh, no.  Princesses, football players and hobos, oh, no!  All of these and more could be seen walking the halls of Park View.  Many haunting activities were planned for the ghouls during the day.  Classes held parties with the help of their Room Mothers.  Mrs. Toelupe’s class played games, made crafts, and had treats.  Mrs. Shepherd’s class loved making wands; they where super and magically cool.  Mrs. Palacios’s class had a party and catapulted pumpkins into cauldrons.   Mrs. VanNosdol’s class watched a movie and had donuts and apple cider.  The 6th grade classes held a pumpkin carving and decorating contest.  The day ended in a Halloween Parade.  Students followed their fearless leader, Mrs. Stirland, through the halls and classrooms so everyone could see the spooks.  Parents gathered in the gym to see the students show off their costumes.  Enjoy the pictures.
