2015 - December Students of month.JPG | 88.91 KB |
Park View students were recognized for their compassionate ways during the month of December by their teachers and peers.. They were celebrated on January 9 with high fives and cheers. During the month of December students were taught ways to show compassion and had opportunities to be loving and kind. Addi Provostgaard said she noticed her friend was sad and she tried to make her feel better. Spencer Baird helped pick up cans for the food drive. Crystal Allen helped other students with their work. Gentry Taylor held the door for her class. Savannah Barrus helped her friends get to the computers. Nathan Eldridge let two people go ahead of him during listening center. Over 2000 food items were collected from all the Park View students during the month of December for members of the Payson Community. Students heard of a young girl who may have her last Christmas this year, so they made a gigantic Christmas card to send to her. Many more acts of kindness and compassion were noticed throughout the month of December. Congratulations to all those who served others. Keep it up; the world would be a better place if we followed the example of these students:
