The Annual Awards Ceremony

The Annual Awards Ceremony was held on May 23, 2012 at Park View Elementary to honor students for their hard work and accomplishments for the 2011-2012 school year.  Here is a list of all awards and their recipients:

Hershey Track Meet Champions:

3rd Grade champions:

Mason Green - 1st place in the 50 Meter Run and the Softball Throw, Garett Willimas - 3rd place in the Long Jump

4th grade champions:

Ethan Gowans - 1st place in the 50 Meter Run, Jaxon Bahr - 1st place in the Softball Throw, Bransdon Gustafson - 3rd place in the Softball Throw, Kinsey Makin - 2nd place in the 50 Meter Run, Madison Hawkins - 3rd place in the 50 Meter Run and 3rd place in the 100 Meter Run, Halle Meek - 1st place in the 100 and 400 Meter Run

5th Grade Champions:

Cole Peterson - 1st place in the 400 Meter Run, Logan Sorenson - 3rd place in the 400 Meter Run, Tyson Stone - 3rd place in the Long Jump, Sara Wiberg - 2nd place in the 400 Meter Run

Penny War:

Mrs. Blackham's 4th grade class was honored for the most points won during the penny war, and Ms. Shumway's class earned the most money.  Each teacher was given a trophy to display in their classrooms during the year.

Teachers leaving us:

Park View is blessed with many talented and dedicated teachers.  It is always a sad day when we loose a member of our family.  These teachers will not be returning to our Beehive.  The staff and students will miss them greatly, however, they extend their love and best wishes for each one:  Mrs. Lundgren, Mrs. Ewell, Mrs. Blackham, Ms. Pittman, Mrs. Millet, Mrs. Hereth, Mr. Johnson and Mrs. Welton.
