Submitted by joann.kirk on

The 6th grade students have been studying Greece in their 6th grade class. This week, November 2 - 6, they talked about the differences and similarities between the Greek Olympics and the Olympics we have now. Then they held a mock pentathlon where they got to try out what the Olympics is like. Students competed in: paper plate discus throwing, cotton ball shotput, straw javelin, standing long jump, and clay on a spoon pole vault. The winners got medals. Here they are! Everyone had a great time!

SNAP Teaches Students How to Be Safe

Submitted by joann.kirk on

Snap came and taught us about being safe when you’re walking to school.  They also taught us our road signs.  They were really fun and they helped us learn about road safety.  They also taught us safety on bikes and how to do a bike check.  They also told everyone to wear helmets.  Here is a rule when crossing the road, “Look left, look right and left again.

We want every Park View Bee to bee safe.
