To celebrate our reading month on Friday, March 28, Park View Elementary had a good ol' fashioned, western-style, county fair! Every student who read was invited to attend. Each grade level had 45 minutes to explore the several booths in the large northern field at Park View Elementary. The booths included: Dutch Oven Cobbler (provided by parents,) a petting zoo with animals from Payson High School FFA, a covered wagon photo booth, roping lessons, hayride, and an inflatable mechanical bull! Students, teachers and volunteers had a wonderful time celebrating what Park View loves most...READING!
March is reading month at Park View Elementary. Students in each class are reading every minute they can to help their class win prizes. To inspire students to continue reading, emplyees of Payson City came to read to each class. Mayor Moore was able to read to several classes, including Laura McAllister's second graders.
